4″x8″ Vineyard Wall blocks are primarily for retaining walls. All blocks with a “lipped edge” are meant to be placed on top of each other, facing the ground. The lip ensures a staggered lean into the material meant to be retained. This enhances the structural integrity and strength of the retaining wall.
