Description

1/4″-10 Open is a clean crushed river rock. It is also the Oregon Department of Transportation’s specified sanding gravel, and applied to roads when conditions are icy. You will also see this gravel spread on roads and sprayed with adhesive, to provide vehicles with even greater traction in icy conditions.

Note: 1/4″-10 has increased in popularity as of late, and has seen use for pathways, animal holding areas, paver leveling substrate, and other landscape applications.

Coverage: 1 Cubic Yard covers approximately: 324 Square Feet at 1″ depth, 162 sq ft at 2″, 108 at 3″, and 81 at 4″.
